ATC 185 questions

Hi all I have a honda atc 185.
I have the rack for it I just don't know how it mounts on the bike. The bike is a 1980.

There also is a shaft that is under the pull start that has a "N" above it what is that for? Would this be a High low switch?

These don't have a high/low set up. That's your gear indicator. When new, there was a plastic piece on there that pointed at the "N" when it was in neutral.
