shinsei R/C 225DX

Hey guys I just brought a cool black RC yamaha 225 like the dust runners it all works but it wont steer nothing happens when i move the stick does anyone have experice with these or the dust runners and give me some tips where to start or what to look for??

Did you put a 9v battery under the seat?

no all i did was put 6 AA in the back so it needs a 9v under the seat too?

Yes. Pinch seat together on the sides and it should lift off and expose battery compartment. Hopefully resolves issue.

I did that and there is a space for a 9v but not connectors or any mention of it in the instructions?

Does it look like this? Every Shinsei I have is the same. Maybe unscrew rear fender and see if wires need to be pushed through slot.242642

thats weird so do you have to put batteries in the back too? i took the fenders off no battery leads their either im going to take it to an RC shop near me, i would attempt to fix it but its too rare for me to stuff up

Yup 6 AA in the back and a 9v under seat. I believe one set drives and one steers but im not sure.
