Rebuilding my 70 again. I know for around $300 I can buy the douglas polished wheels with holeshot tires. However I'd like to put wheel spacers on the back. So I'm not sure if anyone sells the 3 x 100 wheel spacers or I'd have to spend money on not only new 4 x 110 hubs but then wheel spacers that fit those. Has anyone ever done this and could point me in the right direction?

Dr Atv sells 4x110 hubs that fit the 70 for about $40 each and then 5" wheel spacers for $90. If I did that I'm unsure of what wheels I would need to buy. I know for the front I'd buy the 8x6 douglas wheel with the holeshot tire but I dont want to buy rear tires that are too large in the back.

I actually just realized Dr Atv sells a 3 x 5 offset wheel with the standard 3 x 100 pattern and it says that will add 2 inches on each side. However it's an 8 x 8 wheel not the typical 8 x 6 wheel they sell with matching holeshot tire. I'm so confused on what to do. I just want a wider rear end with holeshots on the back!

Anyone have any insight?

actually just found that someone makes and sells 5 inch spacers on ebay for stock 3 bolt hubs!

So my next question is should I get the 18x6.5.8 tire or the 16x6.5.8 tire. Not sure if 18's would look silly being too tall.

18" are pretty tall. And those "holeshots" are stiffer than stiff

So I should stick with 16. Any other decent looking tires then?
