So I ordered a 34mm mikuni round slide off ebay http://m.ebay.com/itm/Mikuni-Geniune-VM-34mm-34-mm-Round-Slide-Carb-Carburetor-VM34-168-42-6015-VM34SC-/231411657250?txnId=1430721534013 . The motor side of the carb is about 1/8 to small to fit snug in the boot. What's the deal? I thought alot of you guys use these carbs?

No I am not using one of your intake boots. I believe the carb that was in there was the stock vm32ss so it shouldn't be stretched. what is the inside diameter of your boot John? Im just wondering if I ordered the wrong carb?

They run about 42mm inside diamiter.
I don't have a loose carb handy to measure the outside of the spigot.
Couple of pictures of new 86/87 boot + used 84/85 boot (I am out of 84/85 boots).
You might try a few wraps of eletrical tape to enlarge the carb spigot.
