I've had a couple people ask about this. This is an easy mod if you want it. Douglas makes the wheel. I got mine on eBay. It was listed for a 3rd gen 250r. Same bolt pattern. It's a Douglas red label. .190 thick. Heavy duty. 10x6 , 3+3 offset. All you have to do is grind down some extra material on the hub from casting. I have over 500miles on this from hub after grinding and no signs of cracking. All hard trail riding. Here's some pics https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170407/ea12b196574d6cf7f41d24be5a852a77.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170407/5bbb7cab55d62d22ee07037ebb8f27d4.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170407/a81966e984384731f030e4684922db1c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170407/1503a22d50d24169a2b13e66858aff29.jpg
I did this for the sole purpose of a sand tire. Skat track no longer stocks on was going to over 225$ plus shipping for them to go buy and make one for me. This was cheaper with wheel and tire. I didn't have to machine the brake caliper at all. Just the hub. Enjoy. Ask me any details I forgot.

Good deal. I was always wondering about doing this. Seems like there won't be 11" tires at some point.

We need to keep using our trikes, that's all. Manufacturers will always have one or two 11" tyres in the catalogue if the demand is there

I still run a 11" tire rim for the dirt as I don't like the 7" dirt tire on a 6" wide rim. Also the height an plus are a concern for me. I really like that 2 ply tire on this machine. I think anything else is just ridiculous. But for sand I was willing to give up the extra height for clearance plus cost. Paid roughly 190$ plus tax for the whole setup. Salt track waned 225 for a tire plus I would still want a rim.

Looks pretty good! I just tried looking the rim up on ebay but I guess there aren't any listed at the moment

Type in "atc front rim" he has it listed as an OMF but it's a Douglas modified by omf. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170408/0be7de9885d18cacf9c134456dfe1998.jpg
This is the same guy I bought mine from. Decent human. Big atc fan.
