YTM 225 Choke replacement

Getting ready to roll up my sleeves and replace the choke cable on my 225DR. Anyone have any advise as to what I should avoid doing? I tried looking for videos online, but didn't have much luck. Do I need to pull the gas tank, or can I thread the new cable underneath it?

Best to pull the tank as there may be a strap or zip tie holding it down. Its only a few bolts to get off and on.

Once you get that far, it's pretty easy to do.

Yep, there are some metal tabs that hold the cables in place. Removing the tank is pretty easy and gives you a chance to clean it up nice and pretty under there.
