250sx cdi question

Getting my 1985 250sx out of storage. It appears that the cdi has been borrowed off of it. I have one off of an 85 250es one off of a 85 trx 250 and one off of 86 250sx. Does anyone know for sure if any of these will work?

Your 85 250es is the same as your 85 sx.

The Honda parts diagrams confirm the 85 250SX uses the same part number as the 85 250ES.

Hey, check your wiring right as it bends into the CDI connector.

I've now seen 2 now that seem like the the swingarm bouncing up and down with a wire in the stock electrical connector; I thought it was the carb and was ready to sell it the 1st time I've seen it !

Hey all you ATC 250SX's guys, check your wiring right as it bends into the CDI connector.

I've now seen 2 now that seem as if the the swingarm pivot rotating/bouncing up and down break off a wire in the stock electrical connector; I thought it was the carb and was ready to sell it the 1st time I've seen it ! I couldn't find the problem until I unravelled the electrical tape....
