Has anynody figured out what Race Tech Gold Valve will work in 85 200x front forks?

Do you mean their cartridge fork emulator? The gold valve is for the rear shock. They probably have an emulator for it, but you will need to get the dimensions off the top of the damping rod. You need to order an emulator that is the same diameter of the top of the rod, which is more or less the same diameter of the fork spring. Here is a helpful video that discusses the function of the emulator.

Yep, the emulators are what I run.
These ancient forks need certain holes welded shut and others drilled in different locations.
I have them in my 86/87 but I don't know about the heights and diameters etc etc....

Just call race tech. Talk to brad. I just did this for my 350x. They work AWESOME. He's the one who set up the original ATV on demand project. And you don't have to weld any holes up but you will need to drill out your existing compression holes and make 4 new ones. I just did a thread on this with decent step by steps and pics.

Just to add to that if they ask 200x forks are 33mm. You might think about having your triple clamps bored and buy some 350x tubes. Bigger stronger and more parts. More travel etc. only 2 mm bigger.
