HRE 350x header

What did I just buy? Said in the ad that this header was made by HRE and made to let you bolt on a 450r muffler. I searched and searched for more details but couldn't find any. Anyone heard of this before? Did HRE make it? Is it stainless or mild steel? My guess is mild steel. Try and stick a magnet on it. Some stainless is magnetic though.

No the ad says it was made by HRE. From the pic I thought it looked stainless and was hoping someone here could verify for me. I haven't heard about HRE making a pipe before and I could only find mention of its existence, no details. That's what I'm looking for.

HRE makes amazing parts. I had been in contact with him as I wanted that header. it is 1.4375 I.D. and is sectional, mild steel and powder coated.

BUT, after many messages, I found out it is made specifically to go into a 450 can. He could not assure me it would go into my Supertrapp and I don't want to cut it and harm the PC, weld on it etc etc....

It's worth every dime!!

Ebay is not his full time job. That guy spends ALLOT of time in his shop and makes allot of custom parts, mainly for the ATV race series I believe.

But, he may not have a post office near by or just can't justify the time until he needs acetylene or something; Who knows :lol:

Ebay is a contract. But, it's a PITA to sell on there without all kinds of boxes, newspaper, foam and tape. I'm not sure he sells allot on Ebay but he may and seems to be just getting into the ATC market side. A month or so ago he made 2 fully gusseted frames with a rebuilt seat latch area. I forget what he charged but they were for sale and then gone.... I forget what he was asking, maybe 6 or 700$ and they were worth it...

We have a member (I forget his name) just built a KX100 trike and is always building something, but he just drives right over there. HREs brother is Jason Liskey I believe. Anyway, I'm sure he works with other members here.

I'm trying to find the best price on a 30' or 40' storage container I can keep all my parts in and dedicate my 20 x 16 shop to just fabrication. I only need a couple more pieces of equipment and would build a PC oven that fit's frames as well....

he is a busy man. He has made atv frames for me, swingarm, motor mounts and steering stem. Right now he is in the process of making a subframe for a dirtbike(dual sport), after mine is done and fitted, others from 2 facebook groups and atv/dirtbike forum as SUPPOSED to be having him make them a similar item. Top notch work for him, yes....he makes parts for big name companies and sends off raw unfinished parts for them to market as "theirs", that is his main business. There are pictures of my atc250r frame, atc450r frame w/ related parts on his website and on older posts on this forum.

The guy who is selling it I don't believe is the same person who made the header.. The person who is selling it told me he was building a bike but needed the cash that's why he's selling everything he had for the 350x. And I know things could happen where it can take some time to ship something but when they tell you they shipped it but can't give you a tracking number for another 2 weeks I just think that's kind of funny but like I said you will get your item

If the seller is whiterabbit34 he lives in Clinton CT. I bought a complete 350x motor off him, but need to gusset my frame before I put it together.

I bought two items off seller on eBay. Rear fiberglass fender for a 86 200x that I picked up in person. Then I also won a brake caliper for a 350X off him on ebay and after 6 weeks and some excuses about paypal freezing his account he cancelled my sale and refunded my $$ for the caliper.

I found it odd that other auctions were running and he was selling many other items while paypal froze his account yet the caliper never materialized for me.

That is strange. He re-designed the seat latch area and listed 2 frames (along with 2 headers)with that change, great welds, great gussets and he answered every single question I had. And I think he lives in Pennsylvania as did this seller.

We have yet another top notch fabricator; Who he is, I no longer know!!??

Dirtcrasher....HRE makes great custom ATV parts out of Pennsylvania.

This person selling parts because another baby is on the way is someone who does have cool trike parts for sale but sometimes the sale might not go through after a buyer has paid out $$.

I have the swingarm and most of the invert kit. Look for another listing which had frame, axle, header for 950. I suspect those items will be listed again.

Funds are a little low so for now I'm hoping my stock 400ex exhaust fits. The goal is to set it up so I can use any 450r muffler so in the future I can upgrade

Well, I don't want to give another false answer, :lol:

But, in the 4 messages we spoke together he said it was specifically made to fit onto a TRX450 Can. And to be honest, I ran that setup with the HRC tip, and I had to rejet 4 sizes on the main jet, 1 or 2 on the pilot after using that tip. I wouldn't hesitate to use that if your 400EX doesn't fit. They're sold everywhere cheap.

I only took it off to run a Supertrapp. I had those questions because I didn't wan to have to weld on that header because it's already powder coated.

Maybe it will work, or maybe you can make a midpipe...

I bought a niche of stuff from white rabbit about two years ago. Swing arm some PRM nerf bars and few nos items. He's a nice enough guy but he has a lot of family issues. Or so he says. Shipping takes forever and his follow up isn't great. Forgot some of my hardware he promised. Easy to replace but was the thought.
