1985 ATC 70 and parts availability/interchangability

I just picked up my first 70, a 1985 model. It's missing some items, like the recoil, exhaust, and foot pegs. I would assume that the TRX70 parts would interchange on this, and most years of the ATC. Is there any other model recoil I can use...they seem near impossible to find w/o paying an arm and a leg for.

Look up partazilla atc70 and year. It will show other bikes or trikes listed for that part number

If you are going to run the stock 70 motor you need a recoil from 78-85. If you are using a new motor piranha lifan etc I then you will need the TRX70 recoil. Recoils are the most expensive parts of a 70 restore.

I just can't believe recoil's are that expensive when you can pick up a machine for another couple hundred bucks.
