Are those shocks on the front end? I didn't know they came with suspentions. I just sold my 185s and relly miss it. Looks good

These are pictures before the resto. I will have some more up when I get my parts in, I also have some decals being made for the tank. They will be exact replacements with the dark blue in metallic and the black around Honda in metallic. The tank is at a local body shop having the big dent pulled, I will paint it back factory red. The frame is black and the motor is cast aluminum with about 4 coats of clear on the whole thing. My brother and I saved about 40 bucks by putting in new bearings. As of now I can't figure out how to get the back brake to work, any suggestions? Enjoy. Kaysen
P.S. notice the small block chevy sparkplug wire, and broken off bolt in 2nd pic on the right case.

Looks good! I miss my 200s for riding around. :( I'll get another one this summer.

The 1983 185s models came with front suspention, '81 and '82 did not.

What kind of paint did you use on your motor and frame? I am interested in doing that kind of work to my 185, but I'd like to see how well the paint holds up on yours after a bit of riding and abuse.
by the way though, I really like the look of it, it looks sweet, especially for a 185, it's a nice change from the 350x restore, tecate restors mint tri-z, etc etc

What kind of exaust are you putting on it? I would go with a Cobra, and a K&N air filter. I know its not a "hop up" trike, but it will help it for overall balls. For that trike I would put some Wooly Boggers on the back and a Kenda Scorpion on the front. I had this rubber settup on my '82 185S and it rode nice and griped good. But other than those tips its looking good!

The paint on the frame is Wal-Mart gloss black spray. (out of a can) The motor is actually two different shades of high temp Duplicolor; cast coat aluminum, and cast aluminum. I am going to go with a Cobra full exhaust system, header and a quiet silencer (If I don't like the quiet I will get the LOUD one) I am running a uni filter as opposed to not having one at all. It is also in my head that I am going to run a 200x cylinder, head, and cam.
