I seen the guy that put a 500cc motor into his trike. Just wondering if you could do that to a 200x maybe with some mods. Or if it would be a waste of time. I was thinking about trying it cuz my motor took a trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro on me today.

You could put a 500cc motor in your 200x but it might vibrate. if you could find a motor cheap i would try it.. But why not find a 350x or 250r or something?

To me the 200x with a 500cc motor would be a waste of time. The frame would have to be extended. After all your time you put into it you would have an incredibly fast trike with bad suspension and terrible stability. My choice to put a cr500 engine in is the 85/86 250R or putting the kx500 in the 86/87 T3.

would vibration be a bad thing. I know your hands would go nub like when you run a weedwacker... :? But what about a smaller engine or maybe a motorcycle engine? I can weld good enough to do all the frame modification and whatever else needs to be done. I am thinking about doing this.

What about a 400EX motor with a off the shelf big bore kit in a 350X?

Sure would be easier and more sano.

I have seen some posts on here bad mouthing that CB750 threewheeler. I personally like it and is built with some thought instead of just bolting a lot of stock parts together. I build choppers out of CB750s and Triumphs. It takes craftsmanship to do that and I can see it in his 3 wheeler. Anybody can build a stock 3 wheeler it takes skill to build something that isn't factory.

Also don't you think it is a little rude to be bashing someones trike. Listen to your mom and if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all.

4 cylinders: that is awesome!!!!! I think the only reason why people are dissing that is because they are jealous. But can you tell me a little more about that bad boy. Like what it took to do that and crap.

And on top of it who wouldn't love around 60 to 70 HP. And you can beat the tar out of it and not worry about it breaking. Those engines are the best. Most reliable and durable engine ever built.

I have a 85 250r frame that I'd like to find a 4 banger motor to drop in. 70 hp would be nuts! One of these days!

A Guy I work with told me that he had a 200x with a Yamaha RD350 engine in it. I wouldn't want to put a Yamaha engine in a Honda, but, an RD engine is badass. 2 cylinder 2 stroke
He said its a fairly easy swap.

Here's an Rd350 engine in a trike.

I would like to see the other 750x. And by the way I could use a good rack of carbs and boots from a 71-76 cb750. I have a 1978 that I want to change the carbs over to the older style on.

I have a 72 RD250 engine that runs and has carbs that I would sell to someone if they want it for a bad ass two stroke 3 wheeler. $100 plus ship. PM me if interested.

I freakin love that. You don't get any better than that. Just think you could put on one of those old belt driven superchargers and have a ton of horse power and make these gus drool. Are they stock engines or did you mod them? 836 kit? Mid Cam?

That TRX 750 looks factory!

One thing I like about your conversions....you DONT put "10 foot" extended swingarms on them! :D
