The front fender on my 85' rubs on my stock pipe is this common, they are after market fenders BTW.
Thanks

Simple fix is to take small washers to space rear mounts. This brings rear down and away from pipe.

Good idea - I'll try this, too.
The fender rub is common - at least is for me.
How are all your pipe mounts? The top mount near the front of the tank is usually torn after 30 years.

I have a stock 85 Tecate and the pipe grazes the front fender over a short arc of the turning angle.

OK so it is somewhat normal then. I was going to space it down with washers actually but wanted to ask if it was common. Thanks for the replys

Pipe mounts are replaced with good ones.
