Ive been trying to figure out what kind of trike this was and for the life of me, I have no idea. I worked for this farmer from late 1990 to late 1991. I turned 19 while working for him. Between the 25 years ago and my extreme lack of mechanical knowledge in my younger years, the details aren't very clear. I can remember it was red and said Kawasaki across the tank. It had a Kawasaki industrial style motor (I can remember that it had a Kawasaki sticker by the ignition switch). The ignition switch was mounted on the right hand side at the top of the engine. It had a left hand mounted twist throttle that twisted forward. I know that that's backwards today, just not then. I remember that it used a centrifugal clutch, not a cvt style (no neutral, just idle or go). I remember that the clutch or something wasn't real well weatherproofed. He had me use it to try to move some cattle from one pasture to another. When I rode through a shallow water puddle, it acted like a belt got wet and was slipping. I have no idea if it was belt or chain drive to the rear end, I just though that it had a drive belt. From what I can remember,it looked like a red KLT110. I don't remember it having any suspension, but let's face it, when you're 18 and riding your second atv ever, suspension doesn't even come into your mind. I'd just like to know what this was. Was it a factory Kawasaki or someone's not-well-put-together home made trike. Anyone ever hear of such a thing? Barnett?
