I'm thinking of getting a spare new front tire for my 350x but I had a question on the sizing for the front tire. From what I found there aren't but a few replacements in the size 23.5. The Kenda K284 Max A/T and the Cheng Shin Front C832 both are the correct size in the 23.5 but I just don't like the look of those tires for my 350x. Can you drop down to a 23x8x11 and everything perform like it should? thank you guys!

Wouldn't see why it wouldnt. Only difference is a little on height.

the only time I will be easy is when I'm killed by death

Are you running 22's or 20's on the back?

Original bikes came with 22's i believe?

The bike was built for trail riding. (Clearance) Hence the 23.5 up front.

If you are not worried about that so much, have dropped down to 20's in the back.. I would go with the 23's by Kenda or Cheetah.

If you have 22's on the back, maybe go with the factory 23.5 design.

Yes your right the original came with 22's for the rear which I am running. I'm really not looking at this point to drop down rear sizes. I would like to go with the Cheetah as my choice but was up in the air on the size difference.

That Kenda max is heavy...helps to keep the front end down.

I am in the same boat with my X's

I think i will do a mix of both. Unfortunately the Cheetahs were on Ebay last week for a good price and free shipping.

I thought it would last forever and did not buy. They have disappeared since.

That won't happen to me again.

I have a front max on my 200x and just ordered one for my 250r (both are the 23.5 size) and I love the tire. it grips well and no darting at high speeds. They are durable and wear very well.

I too like the Kenda, works fine. The 10" rim Xowner sells gives you tons of more options.

I really like 20" tires on a 350X, but they fit my needs and may not fit yours...

you won't be able to notice dropping down to a 23 from a 23.5, technically only losing 1/4inch in height and id have to agree with TriMotoMan that 20s in the rear feel the best Imo. 22s make it seem too tall and tippy

Thanks guys that information. This is what I was looking for. Did you have to change rear sprocket sizes when running the 20's in the rear

Yup, I bump up to a 14 toothed sprocket; You can still run the guard, which I feel is a necessity....

I had a 23 front Kendra max on a 200x, I didn't notice any difference from the 23.5. I also ran. 20's in the rear.

Hijack on..... why do some 14 front sprockets fit 350x with a guard and others don't. I'm talking of a oem guard not ground down. I tried, but no way would a 14 fit my 350x with a oem guard. Hijack off...

So just the front sprocket you got with a 14 tooth. Do you keep the rear @ 40 tooth?

you dont need to change the sprocket to run 20s imo, you should just put em on and see how you like the feel, you could save a few bucks if you decide you like it without bumping a tooth, and it wont hurt anything
