Nice to see you bagged something. How did she handle in the snow - looks like there's a few inches there. I already strapped a blacktail on the back of my 250ES a couple weeks ago...gonna head out this weekend for another!

The snow was a little tough the first trip but once a trail was established..no problem. It was the creek full of wood cuttings/mud/water/ice etc. The pain was when i got slashed in the face by willows in -12 weather.

Have you tried towing a big sled to cut down on extra trips? Is that a 243? Head shot or?

I suspect it's at least a 30-06. 243 is a way too small for these beasts. I see some carnage on the shoulder hump which will drop them quick but it's an easy shot to miss. It's hard to realize but a whitey can run 50-70 yards with a double lung/heart shot. These things tend to tip over.
