Wanting to stay with a 20x10x9, mostly woods xc style riding. Bike is fresh 205 psi, fmf exhaust, pwk39. Are the reproductions cheetah tires that great, or more so for the restoration guys? I have artrax mxt 20x11x9 and it just doesn't allow the trike to slide unless your in some thick mud. Suggestions?

I didn't believe it at first either, but the cheetah's are a legit tire and they look pretty snazzy too.

I hear alot of good about the Cheetahs but I haven't tried them myself so I cannot comment...

I have ITP Holeshot GNCC rears and a Kenda Front Max up front on my big bore '85 250r and love them!

Same combo on the wife's 350x...

My second R is sporting OEM 450r rears and an OEM 250r front. Pretty descent combo but I like the GNCC/Front Max combo better and that trike will be wearing them in the not too distant future.

I love my OEM Dunlops.

I'd try the Cheetahs if/when I need replacements.

In the 80s, we used to run the Armstrong dimple knobbies with good results - even in the Glamis sand.
Something like these but these are wrong size:

I put a new Cheetah front on my 85R. So far it is top notch. I'm going to buy a couple rears for when I need them. I say go for the Cheetahs.

I have been running Cheetahs on my 350x for about a year now and love them. Just put a set on my 85R rebuild and they really make the bike. Would love an NOS set of Dunlops, but that just wasn't in the cards.

Cheetah does make their tire in 4 or 6 ply FYI.

Love my set of Cheetahs. Performs and looks like the Dunlops. Hooks up real good. NOS Dunlops would be nice but I am very happy with the reproduction Cheetahs. In my opinion - the only style of tire that looks correct on a 250R. My original set of date coded OEM Dunlops are sitting on the shelf.
