I have a backpack that I ride with now. For most part I have fluids (water, Gatoraid) A couple of screwdrivers. And yes a roll of TP.
I am going to put a First Aid kit in it too. A spare plug with tools.
Out on the trails a couple years ago while riding with some people a guy had a bad accident. Went off a jump on a dirtybike and lost control. Bike landed and he landed on top of it. Peg went into his femur. We strapped it off with a belt... He was bleeding bad. We got him out.
He spent 4 days in the Hospital. Just some guy we met on the trails. (his buds texted us on his progress)
I always have my phone.

For me, it depends on the type of riding I do. In any case, I always have some sort of tool box, tow straps, tire patch kit, air pump, extra gloves, and usually some fluids to drink. That is usually the basics but again, depends on where we ride and what we are riding on (Trails or ATV park).

One thing I suggest for anyone is to zip tie an extra clutch and throttle cable to your current ones and seal the ends. You WILL need it one day, might as well have it handy.

That has to be one of the strangest things I've ever heard of. Preventative maintenance sounds a little more practical.
Honda oem tool kit plus an Allen wrench for the rear carrier pinch bolts on a 350x, cotter keys for axle nuts, couple zip ties, Swiss Army knife and a couple dollars worth of change, lighter, water, extra go pro batteries. Gas depending on trail

Back alway pack but in it includes:
TP, spark plugs and wrench. Flat head screw driver. Phillips head screw driver. Tire pressure gauge. Hot hands. Extra pair of gloves. Machete strapped to the bike. Pocket knife. Cell phone. Master links and clips.
I started using the machete after a quad rolled down a big coal hill and got stuck in a tree above me running. That took me 45 mins to get it out with out a machete.
tools.....Beer...seriously
I have used it as wd-40 before. And empty cans cut to wrap over stripped shifter splines or use as emergency fuel containers to drain fuel into to get a guy a couple ounces of gas to get back to camp..
first aid....beer...disinfectant / pain killer
beer cooler...he who carries ones beer, never gets left behind..It is worth a hundred tools and tow ropes

I usually wear my back-pack. In it there is usually a qt of oil for the 4-strokes, basic tool kit including a crescent wrench, couple different sizes of common and Phillips screwdrivers, 3/8 drive ratchet and 3/8 drive allen socket set as most of my bikes have stainless allen bolts kits in them. Also carry my jet box and a couple spark plugs if riding an R. But the jet box only goes out till I'm satisfied that it's dialed in once dialed in good the jets stay at camp. I also carry a tow strap my phone and some water.

I also carry a book bag. oil, spark plugs, assorted tools, beer, devils lettuce w/ appropriate tools for that job, about 100ft 550 cord, small ice fishing pole with some lures when we're riding the rivers. tire patches kit, and a pump from a car emergency kit that I cut the cagrit lighter plug off and put alligator clips on, things works awesome. normally a pistol floating around in there too

Oldskool got close with the machete but I didn't see anyone mention an axe. It's an absolute must for backcountry hiking/riding/hunting. In addition to what was mentioned above (minus the domes) I have two of those emergency foil blankets with me to keep a person warm. Treating for shock after a wreck is just as important, or more, than the injury itself sometimes. If you don't have an abundance of white (paper) birch trees on hand for a quick fire starter, hand sanitzer (with alcohol) makes a great substitute.
Lockwire, ratchet strap to reseat beads and a pump. I keep a spare key hidden in my airbox in case I lose one; you never know.

Machete's work great while riding and opening up grown over trails or building new hill climbs.

With my truck I try to keep a tool box, slime, valve core tool, valve cores, tire plug kit, hatchet, air compressor, cooler full of beverages, first aid kit, extra oil, extra gas, cell phones, grill, food, blanket and don't forget the sun screen.
While riding someone In the group or I have a tow strap, ratchet strap, spark plugs, some simple tools and I try to never leave home without a zippo and pocket knife. This list will change some depending on the situation. In cold weather I try to bring a change of clothes. I took a trike for a swim a few years ago In the winter. Not a pleasant experience.
Now that I see other people's lists I plan to change it arround a little. Maybe a spare wheel/tire, fishing pole, lures, master links/clips, simple first aid kit that goes with us on the trail, hand warmers.

You had respect for MTV? Just so you know this album came out around 1997. Probably hasn't been on mtv for fifteen years. Does MTV even play music anymore? Does anyone care?
