I bought a cherry 84 ATC 250R about a month ago and now I'm looking to make some upgrades. It's a zippy machine in stock form but I can't resist the urge to make it faster. I was hoping to get a Bassani system because I know they were one of the best, but I haven't had any luck finding one yet. My options are now a DG full system or Jemco (as of now I think he only offers the expansion chamber). I would appreciate any feedback on either of these pipes--and a picture of the Jemco if you have one. Generally I'm not a fan of DG pipes but it's one of the few options so I would like some reviews from people that have them. The Jemco expansion camber alone is more than the entire DG system, so if the DG is good I may go that route.

I like bills, cobra, bassani, richter, jemco, mugen all better than the dg. DG is better than stock but not by much. What type of riding do you do? The bills sectionals pop up on ebay pretty often.

I'm planning on building an MX'er with an extended swinger and axle, 18" tires, etc., but I don't exclusively ride MX. I prefer a strong all around pipe or one that favors mid range to top end. How would you describe the Bills pipe?

Id go w bills or jemco. jemco are def pricey. you can find bills on ebay if your patient. usually alot of the sectionals on there. the bassani are good across whole range it seems but could be with mid top port on cyl matched the bills and jemco better. I have some sectionals that I don't even know who made them. Bought up a bunch when I got into second gens a while back haven't run them all.
