I just bought an '86 250sx and want to put some new rear tires on it. I DO NOT want straight mud tires (swampers, spider tracs, etc). I was thinking kenda vipers would make a good all around tire but they don't make them in 20" (for an 8" rim). - The 22" tires on it now seem to be rubbing the exhaust when it bottoms. Ideas? Pics?

No reply so I ordered the Kenda Klaws in 20x11x8. Should be pretty sweet. What do y'all think?

Do you have a 250sx or a set of kenda klaws? What do you think of them?

We have a BIGRED w/ MUDSHARKS and I have to say they are sweet! I think 25" size for top end speed. They slide real nice whan you flick it around and will throw rocks and crap when they bite into the trail. EXCELLENT hook up! I have seen those Kenda Klaws and they look nice also. ROOOst!

yater, I have two sets for my '85sx. One set of 22x11x8 Mud-busters(mounted on gold rims bought from PLJ! :clap ), great in snow and mud, and a set of 22x11x10 Fast-Trekkers(on .190 Douglas rims) that I use for trails, hill climbing@Badlands and yard work. I tried a set of 20" tires once, didn't like them. Felt like I lost a gear,no top end,and sx's don't need any more bottom. I think you might have been better off getting 22" tires and finding a new/different/better rear shock, sounds like yours might be blown/bad.

That could be the case (blown shock)--I haven't even seen the trike yet (it's at Scottzj's in tenn)--If that's the case, I'll put the klaws on one of my 200x's and get the 22" vipers for the sx 8)
