Manual calls for 100cc's. I normally jack the rear end up a bit and put more in. Just make sure your vent is not clogged.

Level with bottom of fill hole,tilt to the right a tad maybe. But you don't want much more in there.

ok so I got a few questions, when I drained the old stuff out it looked like chocolate pudding, could this be responsible for causing clunking noises? And the diff seems to not be taking any oil I put a drop in and it's flowing out the fill hole??

If it looks like pudding, then its more than likely been exposed to water at some point.
I would flush it out real good, before doing a refill.

Excessive noise is caused by wear, it is a mechanical issue and therefore must be inspected and addressed mechanically.

Your diff needs rebuilt. It will have to come out and come apart for new bearings/seals and most likely a pinion shaft. There are some specific threads if you want to look them up :)
