85 250sx electrical issues

Just picked up a 85 250sx that's been sitting for some time, no power getting to the head light electric start and every thing else, only wire behind the headlight that has power is the red power one that goes to the ignition, I'm assuming this is probably a bad connection somewhere but as I'm horrendous at reading wiring diagrams and electrical in General if anyone has any idea what or where the bad connection would be it'd be great help! Thanks!!

Start with fuses... Second, check the inside of your kill switch/headlight switch for corrosion...

Clean up connections on your solenoid. Test it also.

Check the solder joints on the back of key switch, these are a common problem I have seen on the SX. When key is on it should put power to one of the other solder joints on the switch, so power to red wire plus one more. I would start there. You can check with a meter or just a test light.
