Tire measurements

Any tire savvy guy on here that can tell me what 22x11.00-8 translates to? Wanting to get bear claws on my X but I am wanting over size. I wouldn't ask if I knew how to read tire language

The first number is the tire height. The tire is 22 inches tall.
The second number is the width of the tread. The width from each side of the section of tread is 11 inches.
The last number is the wheel diameter. it requires an 8 inch wheel

If I'm understanding correctly. 22x11.00-9 will not work?

a 9 inch tire will not work on a 8 inch wheel; the last number must be the same as the wheel diameter
