I am rebuilding a YTM225 and plan to pull a medium trailer to haul pasture manure to a central compost pile.
I plan to use a common 2" hitch ball on the rear swingarm/axle housing, but it doesn't look as cut & dried
as on my Big Bear 350!
Can someone recommend a working mount? I anticipate a 1/2" thick mount to receive the ball, but not sure
where to fasten it nor what it would look like. Pictures of your working mount would be helpful.
I have most all the machinery to easily fabricate/drill/weld steel, but prefer NOT to weld directly to axle housing.
I CAN weld it to the tri-moto, within the next month or so, as I will be dismantling the rear end to rebuild it.
Seems strange there is no recognizable hitch provision, as the factory dealer videos on UTube depict these trikes
pulling different farm implements/trailers!
Thanks in advance for any info you may provide.
