1983 250r forks onto Big Red

I remember Howdy posted about this before, but I forgot what he said.

Will the front forks/clamps/hub/wheel (whole front end) from an 83 250r fit my 85 250es Big Red?

I asked howdy about that a while back, but it was for my 200es, i finally decided that the work it would take would not be worth it..........

Although i once saw a 250es with a 250r front end on it and it was awesome! With a bit of time,patience and money im sure you could get it to work :-D

I would think an easier set up would be the 250Sx front end instead of the R. But front disc brakes would be sweet. But I think you would have to do something with the rear as the front end would be much higher than the rear..........peace

My son's '82 250r has a '84 front end on it, if that helps
