Also will a 350x motor bolt into a 200x or does it invole alot of work? thanks andrew

The 86-87 200x rims are simular. But the 83-85 200x rims are different.

The 350x motor will not bolt into a 200x frame without major frame modifications.

I just put the 200x rims on my 350x. The bolt pattern is the same but the holes need to be drilled may need to be a bit bigger. My brothers 85 200x rims slide right on.

I found that 400ex rims work well on a 350x just bolt them on and your ready to go :-D

300ex and 250x wheels are the same too.. My R has 350x wheels on back and my 300ex wheels fit right on it..

yes you can punch the holes bigger in the 83-85 200x rims and make them fit but,,,, they are 8 inch instead of 9 inch rims. okay if you have decent 8 inch tires to put on. also,,, so you'll loose a little top end speed but you'll get up to speed quicker.

Sorry John but I had to correct you here. If you use 22x11x8 tires instead of 22x11x9 you will go the same speed / power. ;)

I talked to a friend of mine last week and he said he found a factory set of 350X rims still in the Honda box. He is checking on price. What would they be worth?

Heck...even my Foreman rims would bolt right up to your 350X. They would look a little big and akward...but they would fit :D

howdy ,,, ? what ??? ( as i scratch my head - lol ) something is gonna change if you go switching tire/rim sizes ,,, it's like changing sprockets to a degree ( as i scratch my head some more ,,, ).

The rim size will make no effect on top speed only tire size will. If you go with 22s on 9 inch rims or 22s on 8 inch rims the top speed will stay the same. The only way you will loose top speed is to go with a bigger rear sprocket or a smaller front sprocket. You will also loose top speed with smaller tires but you will accelerate faster and have more torque.
