My poor 84 Kawasaki klt 110 has been sitting for nearly a year with a really tired piston and bore. The NOS market on eBay has yet to turn up any oversize pistons until I found 1 listed at .50 over. I contacted the seller if he had matching rings but no luck. I suppose I could buy the piston and wait to see of a matching set of rings pops up at sometime in my life but I don't feel like waiting for/if some pop up. Does anyone know of a custom shop that could produce the proper sized rings and/or do the bore work? I would love to see my klt back to life in good shape!

Call Wiseco and ask for a tech.

+1 on call Wiseco, or at least get a catalog and start looking for what else had a 51.5 mm bore. Ring designs vary from one piston manufacturer to the next, but I bet you can figure out a source for the rings, possibly by finding them for another application. And as you said, they may pop up on eBay. Have you tried asking a Kawi dealer to search other dealers inventory on their computer network? Someone out there may have what you need just collecting dust on a shelf somewhere. Good luck searching, and I hope you find a set without too much trouble.

Just get your cylinder resleeved and get a standard bore piston kit. As soon as you're done, your +50 rings will show up on eBay..

ProX pistons will be a better source since they are all made in Japan. I’d suspect that Wiesco tech will steer you in the same direction. JE Pistons is also a possibility; All 3 brands are from the PMI corporate name.
