185/200s models.
I am finding the new friction plates are too thick and will not allow the recoil to work properly. Has anyone else had this problem lately? I have used several of these over the years and never had this problem. I order them from dratv aka Beatrice cycle. I have 4 of these new that are too thick.
The brand is cycle pro: part/vendor number is 21253
I am going to call dr atv Monday to see what the deal is.

If the pully has ever been welded, they won't work, but I'm sure you know that. I have a box full of J&M's somewhere. Sounds like they owe you thinner parts :)

I have narrowed it down to the friction plate. Used 100% new parts other than the housing. It was tough to figure out. Being new you wouldnt think it would be the problem. I have had zero long term sucess with tig fusing the pawl area where they normally crack.
I am gun shy to try ebays $14.95 kits.
