First Post: Tech Question

I am looking to buy a Honda 350x or 250r. The goal is to mod it and replace the engine with a 500cc Honda Ascot engine (electric start XL).

My last two trikes were Honda 250sx's, I now have a KLR650 so I know I need some more pep if I start travelling on three wheels again! Here's my question(s). Has anyone done this? Will the engine fit?

Well if you are going with a 4 stroke engine, you might as well go with the 4 stroke frame. Kasey has done the conversion on his 250r with a 500r motor. But there will be some serious modding to do this. You will need a really good welder and be able to fabracate really well too. It can be done with the right resources..........peace

Would a 400EX motor in a 350X be easier?
The aftermarket is pretty good for that motor right now.
