Ok I bent the forks on my 1984 atc 250r (now it's a 500x, build thread here http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php/177712-1984-ATC500X-Project!!!-(1984-ATC250R-XL500R-engine-conversion) ) last winter running on a creek bed. Couldn't see the ice shelf in the snow :(

2nd Gen 250r forks seem to be in short supply. Really I just need the tubes cuz I can use everything else off my rig. First of all if anyone has some for sale please pm me. But I'm also considering an upgrade. Maybe even a inverted fork conversion.

So what other trike forks could I get to work? (3rd Gen 250r? Would I have to use 3rd Gen triples? Would I have to press out stems? Enlighten me) or are there some bikes out there that would be am easy swap?

If I dropped the cash on an inverted conversion who do you guys get your custom triples from? I think I could get them from tpc trikes. Anywhere else?

So knowledge me! Thanks!

You can straighten the tubes with a press, or have them straightened at a shop. I've done a set of 200x tubes.

Ok well I guess I can't make them worse. .... but I don't have a press so a couple of clothes line poles and a ratchet strap will have to do. ... I'm poor haha.

But still. Options for the future?

HAH! My scheme didn't work. I think I'll just live with bent forks until I some good tubes pop up for sale. There was a set last month I should have jumped on. ....

So just forks kicks and giggles, would there be any advantage to putting 350x forks on my trike? They are also 35mm.
