how to make snorkel? Honda 185s

I know how to just need some advice and what to use.can I run it straight off the carb? (My airbox isn't usuable) I was going to run straight from the carb out of the back. What size PVC should I buy I've seen people saying 1.5? And how do I get a good seal at the carb end. I will be running the crankcase breather and rear brake hose up the snorkel also and I think you have to run the carb hose any help would be great thank you.

I used some 1 1/2 PVC pipe and a old shop vac hose on one of mine worked great

depending on the size you might be able to use pieces of radiator hose too if you need some flex in the routing
