OK so here is my story/question I just bought an 86 250sx it needed a front fender so I get it home and I have a fender from a 250 sx but my bolt holes don't line up on the triple tree I noticed the forks have air nipples so they can be Aired up so my question is what is the triple tree off of? I'd like to know so I can get a fender, I can use the one I have but it's not wide enough and I'd have to ziptie the one side on so any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Sounds like you have a different front end on it. Maybe 250r or 200x. My guess is you also have disc brake on the front compared to the drum style the sx came with orginally.

Actually no disc brake just a drum I thought maybe a 350x front end but the fender mounts different, what would it take to mount a disc on the front?

Do you have any pics? If you wanted a disc you would need a front hub compared to a drum. Do the forks have a spot to mount a front brake?

Drill new holes in it.
