Scored 4 70's on craigslist last week. Kept the blue one for my wife (she was born on Christmas) and sold the other 3 to my friends.

Blue one needed a carb cleaning and a few tugs on the cord but fired right up. Couldn't be more pleased! (ooh and I replaced that front tire)

Got them for $300 cash and a 3 year old dell laptop. Pretty sweet score.

Nice score....BTW does the Christmas Special have the original rear fender decal? I need a good picture of one to reproduce.

Unfortunately it does not but one of the ordinary red ones might. Would that help? Are the blue decals differe t from the reds?

not trying to hi-jack your tread, I have that decal and a couple others, they are real close but not totally correct. Need a pic of the right side fonts from someone that still has an original.
