Pro Wedge 2 on split rims?

So just as I finish mounting a pair of pro wedge 2 on some Honda 8" split rims I see the tire says not to use split rims. Sooooo what evils can come from running them anyway? They aired up fine and all seems well. These are going on a US90 so power is not an issue? Anyone?
