So it's been hit or miss for my posting lately as I have been going full throttle on my atv repair shop. I did however happen to catch a awesome deal on a 1986 200x.

those are from the day I picked it up for 200$. I have since been rebuilding it to ride-able condition. I built a new grab bar did some plastic welding on the rear fenders cut a seat and used what vinyl I had left for a seat cover, and put a new chain and shift lever on it. I am still looking for tank scoops and am analyzing a headlight and tail light setup to use. I went to look at it with the expectation of walking away as I was sure it was going to be nothing but a parts machine, but when I got there all the bearings were nice and tight, and the motor is in tip top condition. With a little electralasis to the tank I was able to remove all of the residual fuel and slight rusting that was in there. I am planning on using the plastics it has as I intend to ride the snot out of it, and don't want to fear breaking them.

Oh and on a side note once my lathe get to my shop I will start reproducing the tri-z exhaust gaskets again, sorry about the long wait since they have been made.

Nice runner, does she run good?

Clean her up and she'd look real good. I'd rather have a 200x instead of my auto x

runs like a dream, had to rejet from where it was went up to a 40 on the slow jet and a 125 on the main and the plug is a perfect brown now, and this baby has some good power for it's size.

I'll have to check but I'm pretty sure that is pretty close to what I am running on my super x. Intake and exhaust do a world of good to those motors. Really gives em some life.

I have a spare motor in pieces that I'll likely never use so let me know if you need any parts. Nice cobra btw.

thank you that was one of the biggest surprises I saw when I started looking at it. Makes this bike loud as hell, but I don't mind. One thing I am trying to figure out is will the maier 350x super scoops bolt holes match or the 1st gen maier 200x super scoops match, as I would really like a set of scoops on it soon.

Let me know if you need any parts Brandon. I got 2 200s engines for parts, don't know if some things are interchangable with the s and the X.

I have a set of 87 scoops, new or used OEM, unless you are set on red. The used OEM are USED but intact.

One small crack that could be epoxies from the back, and scratches, still flexible and the mounts are intact.

To my knowledge the only scoops that fit are oem. I was lucky enough to acquire come in pretty good shape and I baby them. They made them very thin IMO.

I just got some confirmation earlier that the 350x super scoops will mount with a little cutting and shaping, however I did just purchase the set from nstyle73. That way I have a set that I can use as a mold at some point to make new ones if I want, but I will be using them
