How to wind up a coil spring for 200es

Repairing the plastic rope drum and like an idiot I let the coil jump out... And watched a video on how to put it back in using a drill, tape, zipties, and a screw... Well I kept bending the hook and it snapped off and tried to make another hook and the freaking thing sapped again... After my tantrum I looked on eBay for a used one and they are 120-170 $$$ that's a lot of money in my opinion. So now I'm tempted to buy another coil and fix it my self or have someone do it.

Not sure what video you watched, or why needed a, drill, zip ties, tape ,and a screw for. The recoils I have done, are done just as Howdy shows here.
