Just wondering if any of you racers of guys with ST kits have tried mounting the oversized aluminum radiators (either the ones from the 3WW shop or the Chinese made ebay ones) on your 250R?

Obviously I am not willing to modify any of the OEM ST kit components because they are not replaceable. But making parts is not out of the question, neither is modifying some DC shrouds.

Thanks in advance guys!:beer

I'll know in about a month. Everything I see comparing the two - it should not be the problem I am seeing with oversized without ST kit. ST kit should make the problem I have go away.

Is the thread you have posted now abut the radiator rubbing on the bracket with an ST kit?

I've got a short track tank with oversized PWR radiators. When I first got the radiators, I mounted them on the short track brackets that are canted back and it was a very tight fit. The spigot on the PWR is particularly long and the hoses rubbed against the metal brackets where the top of the shroud mounts. Since then, I decided to use my stock steering stem (that has less turn radius than the short track stem) so I could use my OEM brackets to mount my radiators. I never take the corners that tight anyway. Now the clearance is much better. Here are some pictures.

I have a ST kit with pwr radiators also. I don't have any problems with them. Maybe you got a different batch of radiators, my filler cap is on the other side. I got my pwr's back on 06 when they first came out.
