I split the cases on my 1985 yamaha tri z and was wanting to make sure I got the two shift forks that are on the one shat in the correct order. There is no mention in the manual which one goes on first I think I have it right just want to make sure any help would be appriciated thanks Glenn O.

I don't recall exactly how they are identified, but I recall the are not the same and I doubt they can be mixed up and still fit, or I'd have put mine in wrong;). Did you try putting them in both ways? That would answer your question.

Yea it only works one way, I reassembled my tri z engine myself it was easy. If you get it wrong the fork will stick, it only works one way.
