This is a follow up on my thread that got closed last weekend,new old solenoid arrived ,and I replaced my original.No start.So in tracing back to electric control, I noticed there are two wires in the button start.Sure enough broke lose,Time for solder and back on trails.Just want to Thank the help I received ,and what a great site .Thankyou dave

Yeah-thread was locked?!- I tried to respond back to you to see why you where gonna buy a solenoid ?-
I never mentioned you needed a new solenoid,??? Told you next to check the starter button?!?
-(We confirmed the solenoid worked by bridging it)-thats why I told you to try doing that.
& since you mentioned the neutral light DOES come on- that eliminated that as the cause -which then led me then to believe it was a problem related to the starter button (unsoldered wire as I had mentioned previously).-
Oh well-glad its sorted out for you...
