im haveing some poblems with my 185s. it starts up first pull but when i run it i can't open it up it acts like like im trying to pull something. if you have any idea's please help me out

sounds like your new carb kit was a little to big for your machine. Try switch your main jet back and if the problem goes away, your jets are too big.

it could be lean. If it is sort of sputtering, and like it revs down a bit, then picks up, and sounds like a jake brake, ;) :D it is lean for sure. Sounds lean to me, so also check the plug. you want a brown/carmel color.

also, remeber that the air is colder this time of year, so hence, it is denser. Each breathe of cold air your engine takes is a lot larger than warm air. If you have it tuned to take in such large amounts, you gain power, like a cold air intake on a real car. When the air gets into the cylinder, it expands, and there is not enough fuel for the amount of air, so it doesn't get the correct fire. Try running with the choke on and see what happens, or make sure the choke isn't stuck. It also may be a plugged jet, which doesn't allow enough fuel to get to the cylinder ;)
