OEM Honda is the best way to go. Ive never tried EBC clutches, but they might be okay since they are one of the only decent aftermarket brake pads. Vesrah clutch disks are junk. (so are their brake pads)

try to find you some barnett's although I don't think they are being made anymore. Which really is a problem with clutch discs. Old ones can deteriorate, and over time get worthless...so finding old stock ones can be a goor or a bad thing

Im not sure if your mods are making a difference in your clutch life, but it could be a possibility. In an article that Jeb scanned, there was an 86 200x that had a cam, 10.25 compression piston, 28mm flat slide carb and porting and valve undercutting. They said that the stock clutch just couldnt handle all the power the new mods were making so they sandblasted the fiber plates to remove the hard coating and they flatsanded the steel plates for better bite.

80 over bore, 12:1 compression,dg stage 3 exhaust, rund on alky or race fuel.

Did you replace the clutch srings at the same time? Also, what kind of shape is the basket in? Do you have any grooving in it? Also, how are you geared? Ive seen a lot of people geared way too high for that "top speed" and they cant even ride trails without slipping the clutch all day.
Clutches wear when they slip and several things can contribute to wear beside the quality of the disks. If OEM ones didnt last, you probably have some other issue going on.

i have a 11 tooth front sproket for lower gearing to trail ride and i did replace the springs at the same time. i had been riding it a few hard weeknds before i did all of the upgrades and it operated perfect , but after the upgrades i think it was just toooo much power(yeah!).
