how much fork oil in 83/84 250r

I have a 83/84 250r front end on my 86 200x, forks don't have any oil in them. How much oil goes in them??? I tried looking the manuals I found online and can't see how much goes in.

281 cc's or 9.5 ounces.

To measure that you have the correct amount of oil, you need to compress the fork and measure from the top of the tube down to the surface of the oil. From the top of the tube to the surface of the oil should be 177mm (7.0 inches)
