I've already messaged Mickey and should have known that he only does race fenders. So, does anyone do fiberglass sx fenders? There is a set on ebay right now, but I don't know where there from and what quality they are. As far as looks go, they look perfectly normal. If not, is there any preferred vendors for Maiers?

Thanks, Chandler.

All i can say regarding fiberglass is that if both fenders are the same thickness, one made from fiberglass mat will be stronger than one made from chopped fiberglass.

I don't know if Mr. Dunlap is making anymore.

As usual, everyone wants one until he does all the homework for a group buy.

I would like an 86/87 200X rear fiberglass fender; I'd buy 2 myself.

I am thinking about making my own. I have plenty of mat laying around. I just need some resin. Also zmperformance on ebay sells maiers. Their shop is about 30 min from me. I thought I'd check those out as well.

I don't think it's rocket science. Just would be nice to talk to a guy that does it for a living.

That's one way I got into machining, I offered to work for free if 50% of the time it was spent with the tool maker.

The fiberglass and resin/coloring stuff is all easily purchased in bulk.

Right before posting, I messaged Mickey. He is still making them, if you're interested, I'm sure he would help ya. 👍

I have been watching them as well on E-bay, seems like every week there is a new listing for a set and has been going on for a while now. If our $ was higher, I would have a set headed to my house!

I purchased a fiberglass rear 86-7 200x fender second hand. This was the original seller on ebay, for people on a budget these are excellent as the auction starts low. Who wouldn't want a set of 250sx fenders for $35 plus freight?

Durable and nice gel coat finish, but fit around gas tank area could have been a little better. Now I do not know for certain that the mold was off or possibly person I bought rear fender from maybe trimmed it incorrectly

We just finished up a new mold for the 350x, so yes we are still building the 83'-85' 200x, 83'-84' 250r, the 85'-86' 250r and the 350x. But these are the only ones I'm going to build the cost are just too high to build new molds so I'm just keeping with ones that sell a lot.

Thanks for the replies. I'm hoping that I'll be able to round up a set in the next few days.
