View Full Version : 250r Hub Question

I found a 250r front hub along with the original wheel for sale locally and was wondering if it would fit onto a 250sx. I don't have the $$$ for a full fork swap, so the question stands. It looks to me that it would, along with new bearings of course, but I'm not very highly educated on what will/will not interchange between trikes. I was leaning toward putting a skinnier tire on the front anyway, so I thought it would help if I had the wheel to go with. Any and all answers and opinions are highly appreciated.
Thanks, Chandler.

It will if you swap the front forks to 200x and machine a spacer for the hub and brake caliper. You could use the sx forks but you would have no front brakes. You may be able to swap the bottoms on the forks but I am not sure.

Well, I don't have front brakes anyway. I'm not so much worried about the brakes as I am handling. I plan to keep my front hub regardless so that when I get the extra $$ to fix my brakes, forks, and wheels and tires.

Or just come over to Oregon and buy this one and for-go the drama.
A good working machine that absorbs bumps, goes forward and stops good is expensive though...
