View Full Version : Track drive or wheeled snowblowers ?

Are the track drive Snowblowers any better than the wheeled models ? How about moving them around if they don't run since most of the ones I get don't run and hafta drag them into the truck ?:D

I had one with tracks. While they look cool, there's really no need. Wheeled are much easier all the way around.

Agree with shovelryder...
While a tracked snowblower may get more traction, it's really not needed. If you are using the snowblower correctly and not trying to force it too fast for the snow conditions, wheels work just fine. Wheeled units are also much easier to work with if you have to move one that's not running.

That's what I was hoping you guy's would say....thanks ... What about fuel treatment ? Anyone use them ?

Just Stabil.....stuff is incredible. I put a little in every can I fill.

Stabil usually works well... But when you are putting it away for the off season, I have found that draining the fuel tank and carb is best way to guarantee no issues down the road.
