I'm just not sure. I had it up for sale or trade and this is one of the better offers that came up. Other offers included Tatoos, beater cars and a trashed 86 200x..
I love the treeorizing power of the Tri Z. I love just looking at it in the garage. But.. It doesn't fit my riding style, 2 strokes are unique machines. My 200X is a better fit. So I figure this may be a decent trade with the cash on top (haven't discussed how much yet).

Here's the Tri Z

And the 250SX, it needs a few items to be right again.

I'm going to look at the 250 saturday so there is time. Maybe I'd be better off waiting and buying an SX outright? Then I'd have 3 three wheelers!

What do you guys think?

The 250SX is more practical IMHO. I have hauled 3 pin oak trees for firewood. Haul stuff around yard. You cant beat a reverse gear and with the shaft drive and E start its all luxuries for 1986. Maybe you can do a swap and ask for some extra coin cause your ride looks real clean. Good luck !!

If you can swing the $$ then get three and keep that Z! You would probably regret it even if you got cash on top.

That's kinda what I'm thinking. I don't think I want to let the Z go.

the sx is a great trike and that's a 86 model too. see how much he will give you on top and go from there!

For the riding I do (dunes almost exclusively) I'd keep the Tri-Z.

Although, I've considering have a 250SX for my dad to ride when he joins me. He's 75 this year and starts and rides the 350X but I think the the e-start and reverse would be good.

It better be some nice cashola on top. I'm kinda with you in that I can really appreciate riding the 250. I like the reverse and of course "push to start" but the 2 different riding styles will make the decision.
