would an 81 KLT200 have cdi ignition? If its points ill be happy because they are so simple to wire. i know a 13 year old who could wire them :shock:

yes, points are very easy to wire. The gap opens, and lets the spark fly. It would be very easy to tell. Look near the head, and you see a cap, it probably has points, but not for sure.
