Neighbours bought an old 110 for their kids. It runs perfect by the way. They were riding around just now, came to a stop and now it wont move. It does have a slight oil leak and smokes as the oil drips on to the exhaust. If it runs right out of oil can I assume that the clutch will no longer engage properly?? He's no mechanic but he told me that there's oil in it. I'm not convinced that that is the case here. Is there a clutch adjustment that I should look at on this little thing?? Any ideas of whats wrong with this thing???

OK I went over and adjusted the clutch. I took it right to the end no adjustment left. It moves now but barely. Any suggestions on a good quality ebay clutch???

Didn't know ebay made clutches.

shortline10 might have a suggestion for the best clutch.

Did you make sure the brakes didn't lock up with a stuck/crudded-up cable assembly.

I've had good luck with the Tusk brand clutches from Rocky Mountain on small bore motors. I wouldn't use them on a high powered machine but for a 110 it's a decent clutch at an affordable price

Oil 'Dripping" is not a SLIGHT oil leak. It's an oil leak.

Ten to one says you guys were leaving it in too high a gear and smoked it up. Just because it will move in third from a stop doesnt mean it should.

What ever you do, don't check the brakes, bearings or the chain or the hi/lo engagement.
