I have read the posts on this site on handelbar recomendations and find myself in a quandary. My stock handelbars are bent so I need new replacements. I can't decide between going retro-mod and going with a slightly taller traditional bar (ATV HIGH bend) or the Fasst-Flexx bars. They may seem a bit out of place on what will be essentially a period-correct 84 racer. Any recommendations on the best bend if I go traditional (I am 6'3" and fat)

I like K&N Superbars on my 200x's. I have met you in person and would definitely say that you need taller than stock bars.

Flexx Bars will really kill the vintage racer look you are going for, and may lead you down other new technology paths as well. Your build seems to evolve quickly so maybe thats not a bad thing.;)

That was what I was thinking on both points. OK I think the traditional bars will be the first ones I go with the try out. Thanks for the input.

My bars on my 200x are the cheap 30 dollar bars I bought from the Honda dealer. I think I got the medium height bars. They look great on my bike which does looks mostly vintage with a few custom touches here and there.here is an old picture of my bike I have added and changed many things since this pic but the bars are the same.225411

CR hi protapers 7/8s cut down 1 inch per side and then an extra set of handle bar top clamps below to add a little height to keep arms straight. No two people are going to have the same answer in here. Its whats feels good to you.

I have pro taper ATV mid's on my 200x and enjoy them. I'm 6'6" 200ish and they clear my knees.

Pro Taper fat bars (CR high bend) with conversion spacers adding and extra 3/4" in height. (I'm 6' 3" also). I never liked any type of ATV bend bar on any trike, trikes just feel like they need a motocross bike bend bar on them to me.
