Well I finally got a chance to finish the 250r today. I've been working a bunch in the last month and I've had only a little bit of time to work on the R. Well when I got it I discovered that the forks were bent, so I ended up replacing them with a set off of ebay and added progressive springs to them and OEM forkboots. Polished the sliders, triples and the brake mastercylinder. That opened up a can of worms, the frontend looked good so I ended up replaceing the tank, and all the plastics, bought the PRM grabar from someone on the site. I also bought some RIS footpegs for it also. I may change out the wheels for a chrome set and some paddles but I like the gold stock rims also. Well its finished for now, as soons as it warms up a little I'm going to install the new sprockets and chain I bought for it also.

I got it from a guy on ebay that was parting out all the chrome 250r stuff, I emailed him and he had that tank in exellent shape. I think I got it for 85 shipped.

Man you ripped him off on that tank. I've seen shitty ones on ebay go for more than what you paid for that one. I need a new tank but Honda only sells black now. Mine looks good only if I add a daily dose of armor all.
Your trike looks great, have you ridden it and what do you think?

That guy more than made up for what he lost in the tank. I think the motor out of that R was up to 1045.00 the last time I looked. K-Z I bet he made 4 grand parting that trike out!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=43977&item=2455248886&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT

Looks great!

Glad to see you went the extra mile on the OEM fork boots. Those EBAY blue boots don't come close to the stock color at all.
